Born in Lyon Alexandre Siranossian, currently resides in Romans and is the principal of the town School of Traditional Music and Dance.

In 1973, he founded l'Orchestre de Romans et des Pays de la Drome, selecting musicians among Professors and senior students of the school. The orchestra has greatly contributed to the cultural life of the region performing alongside with the wide variety of classical and contemporary music also works of some underestimated composers.

Unusual program ideas and highly professional quality of performance have gained excellent reputation for the orchestra in the region and far beyond. Many renowned musicians like Tibor Varga Maxence Larrieu, Pierre Amoyal have worked with this orchestra.

Maestro Siranossian has been guest conductor in many countries. He has appeared many times on podium in concerts with Serenade Chamber Orchestra in Armenia and France. Together with "Serenade", he has released two CDs with Komitas-Aslamasian pieces.
