She was born in 1918 in Rostov-on-Don, died in 1996 in Moscow.

In 1943 she graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory, the class of compositions after Kh. Kushnarev and the class of piano of M. Khalvin.
Since 1947 she gave lectures in the Yerevan Conservatory (the class of polyphony). She was a professor since 1947.
