Geghuni Chitchian


She was born in 1929 in Leninakan (present Gyumri).

In 1953 she graduated from the Yerevan Conservatory, the class of compositions after G. Yeghiazarian. Since 1953 she is the head of the class of compositions in the children’s music school, since 1971 she has lectured in the Conservatory, and has become an assistant professor since 1982.
