Marianna Shirinyan


Was born in 1978 in Yerevan. Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Music School (Margarit Hakobian). Studied at the Yerevan Conservatory (Igor Yavrian). Two years later she moved to Germany where she studied with Mathias Weber in Hamburg and since 2000 with Konrad Elser in Luebeck. Took master-classes with Leonard Hokanson, Karl-Heinz Kammerling, Conrad Hansen, Vladimir Krainev, Miriam Fried, Vassily Lobanov, Nikolai Petrov, Menahem Pressler.

She is a Laureate of several International Competitions in Paderborn, Ettlingen (Germany) and Gaillard (France), Barcelona and Spain. In 2001 she awarded Prize for Music (Possehl). She has already proved herself as a solo pianist. She had possibility to work with such musicians as Christoph Eschenbach, Ana Chumachenko, Shmuel Ashkenase, Frans Helmerson, Eduard Brunner. M. Shirinyan has many performances on German Radio and TV. Usually she performs at Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and "Summer Academy" in Pommersfelden.
