Viola-player, conductor and pedagogue, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Laureate of the USSR Government honors.

Born in 1946 in Baku, Azerbaidzan. In the period of 1966-1971 studied at the Baku State Conservatory, composition department. From 1971-1988 worked in the Sumgait Music College.


He was born in Yerevan. He has graduated from Yerevan Conservatory as a choirmaster (Prof. R. Mangasarian) and Opera-Symphony Conductor (Prof. E. Khachaturian). He took lessons of singing from V.

He is thought to be the puple of Mesrop Mashtots and Sahak Partev. He got humanistic education in Alexandria - the Hellenic center of Egypt - and came back to Armenia in 440.

Was born in Giumri. She has graduated from Yerevan Conservatory in 1986 (the class of Prof. V. Aharonian, Piano department) and in 1989 (the class of Prof. A. Adamian, Organ Music department).


She was born in Yerevan in 1958. In 1984 she graduated from the Yerevan Conservatory, the composition faculty, the class of G. Yeghiazarian and L.


Nerses Shnorhali (1100-1173) is a poet, prose-writer, musician and politic. In 1166 he was the Catholicos of Armenia.


He was born in Akna in 1881, died in Isphahan in 1943.
